Join PALSI to unlock your potential now!

Are you finding the transition to university study challenging? The PALSI (Peer-Assisted Learning Scheme using Supplemental Instruction) Program is here to help! It offers peer-assisted learning sessions specifically for first-year students who are struggling to adapt to the current academic study, providing the support you need to get on track and succeed! Learn more about how it works:

What is PALSI?

  • PALSI aims at enhancing students' understanding of course materials and improving students' overall learning and reasoning skills. Regularly scheduled, out-of-class, and peer-facilitated review sessions are open to undergraduate students taking the PALSI courses.
  • As PALSI is a course-based learning initiative, senior students who have performed well in previous studies are invited to be PALSI Leaders. They meet with first-year students (called PALSI Students) studying in the same course to discuss academic work and share tips on effective learning strategies.

Courses provided in PALSI

  • 4 Courses: CS1302, PHY1201, MA1508 and MA1300
  • Each course will be supported by more than one PALSI Leader, who are outstanding senior students with great passion.
  • PALSI Leaders will provide at least one session every week for review and Q&A.
