Registration Restriction
Some courses available for online registration have registration restrictions. These restrictions limit enrollment to students from specific evels, majors, programs, or other criteria set by the course-offering academic units.
Example:
If a course or section is marked as “Only for MSc Computer Science” under the Enrollment Requirement in the Student Information System (SIS), it means that only students enrolled in the Master of Science in Computer Science program are eligible to register.
If a course or section is marked as “For DS & Prerequisite: SDSC5001”, it indicates that the course is open to students in the Master of Science in Data Science program who have successfully completed SDSC5001 in a previous semester.
Students who do not meet the stated requirements but wish to enroll should submit a request for approval from the relevant course-offering academic unit via the Online Application in the Student Information System (SIS) during the designated Add/Drop Period. This process applies to registration for courses that are not available for direct online enrollment.
