Courses and Sections

  • A course may comprise more than one section type, e.g. lecture, tutorial, laboratory session. Each section type may consist of more than one course section.

Tutorial

Laboratory Session

Seminar

Thesis/ Dissertation

Project

  • Course section of a course is composed of section type name and 4-digit class number.
    Example: Lecture-1021, Tutorial-1035
  • Students should complete the whole registration process and register one section in all necessary section types.

If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the page contents and the Academic Regulations (AR), rules and guidelines, the AR, rules and guidelines shall prevail.
