Bachelor's Degree

In order to be awarded a Bachelor’s degree, a student shall:

  1. complete the minimum credit unit requirements for the degree;
  2. achieve a CGPA of 2.00 or above; and
  3. fulfil other requirements stipulated in the University’s regulations and procedures.

The University grants bachelor’s degree awards with the following classifications based on the CGPAs according to the general guidelines below:

Upper Second Class Honours3.00 – 3.49
Lower Second Class Honours2.50 – 2.99
Third Class Honours2.00 – 2.49

Master's Degree

  • To be granted an award of the University, students must successfully complete a programme of the University, including specific requirements of the named award for which they are registered, general University requirements, and college requirements, if any.
  • Students may be granted a master’s award only if they have achieved a CGPA of 2.00 or above.

The University grants Master’s degree awards with the following classifications based on the CGPAs according to the general guidelines below:
